The England Rugby Union team beat France at the weekend with a display of unbelievable discipline and skill amongst a Parisian crowd baying for English blood. 6 Nations kicks off with the oldest rivalry

The 4th February 2012 sees the start of the 6 nations tournament, and after an appetiser of France v Italy at the Stade de France, Murrayfield hosts one of the oldest rivalries in world sport, Scotland v England at 5pm. The great thing about this game is that it often feels as if there’s more than a sporting result at stake, and you could be forgiven for thinking that Scotland’s recent bid for political independence could add an extra bit of spice to this crunch fixture.
